Sent this by a akro associate. This happened during the lead up to the WAC's (World Aerobatic Championships).

The MXS is one of the best aerobatic aircraft in the world. Matt Hall flies a racing version of the standard MXS. Engine separated in flight! To bail out after this happening is amazing. Unlimited pilots have a low level of 100 metres. He was no doubt much higher than this when this happened. This is a major difference between airshow "stunts" and competition aerobatics, which is flown at significantly higher altitudes as it's purpose is not to thrill crowds, but to impress judges.
