60 Minutes - MH17

Don't usually watch 60 Minutes - usually a bit too "emotive" for me. I did catch the segment they did on tracking the MH17 killers - amazing stuff. Some "privateers" in the UK linked the posted pic's and video of that infamous Buk missile system to Google Earth have been able to trace it's moments from Russia into Ukraine and back over that critical time period. Russia on the other had initially released a very obviously doctored Google Earth pic incredibly capturing MH17 in flight with a "Ukrainian" Sukhoi firing a missile - a one in a billion chance of that happening! Extremely crude form of propaganda. When queried about this, Russia then backed off from this tact and said it was a Ukrainian Buk system that shot down MH17.

So sad for all the families involved that they've not even received so much as a apology from Putin. Must say that I am very proud of how our government, Federal Police and the RAAF handled this most dreadful situation.
