Sort of pissed off atm..... I've just found out that I wont be able to make it Sat & Sun....

But i will be there for the swap and smell. So hope to catch up with some you then.

Ok, someone has to say it and it might as well be me; why line up for an hour in the cold? In reality, any of the really collectable stuff has already been bought or traded between the traders themselves so what does it matter if you get in at 9:02 as opposed to 9:10? Nothing, that's what, so sleep in, enjoy your coffee and don't bother lining up.

Cos I get to catch up to a few blokes before going in. I don't drink coffee and I don't mind doing it. Plus if it's raining I get to stand undercover cos unlike others, I don't like standing in the freezing cold rain. Just how it is mate

I am with Paul.....believe it or not one of the most enjoyable aspects of the dreaded "Swap and Sell" line-up at Expo is the social element. I have had many good chats and laughs with some great blokes (Knotty, Paul, and the boys from SA come to mind here) while standing in that queue. And when those doors open LOOK OUT .... watching a bunch of grown men blindly and excitedly rush in to the joint like a pack of woman at a shoe sale is just so funny !!!, (BTW...I am one of them cause I wanna be the first to get at those rare airliner kits).

It's because they are desperate to buy a model and rush it home to the stash!

Possibly to get used to the smell slowly before going in?
