I'm not a fan of the new roo design, nor the new quantas font. Where is the roos arms? But, I do like the silver sash breaking the white and the red. If they kept the quantas font, and added wings to the previous roo, and the silver sash, I think that it would have looked a lot better. But this is just my opinion, and maybe I'm just old and resist change.

The 747-438ERs are relatively young and will be hanging around for a few years yet, so they might find em selves wearing the new scheme.

Just back from Port Douglas on R&R and finally catching up with ACAM news. Personally, I like simplified symbolic graphics and it's nice to see a link to the past with the wing roo on the nose as well. Be interesting to see if this also appears on the 787's. Change is good for the soul and it keeps graphic designers and marketing people employed! Probably a good time to update the brand with the 787 coming - and about time too! I would like to see QANTAS make a big marketing/advertising splash with the 787's arrival - hopefully they will make the most of this revolutionary aircraft arriving into their fleet.
