Well duh. As I said, we might never know it can (or can't) actually do all the things that LM says it can until shots are fired. Considering Israel is a customer, we might just get that chance.

And...Like I said...small risk they'll ask you to strap one on, so why on earth would you possibly be compelled to express an opinion on something that you have incomplete (blunt) information about?

I guess I could wax lyrical about Jackson Pollock and abstract expressionism, but I wouldn't, coz I have no idea about it.

But by all means, continue along your path. I need a laugh, and the blokes I know that are still RAAF active (but cannot talk about the F-35) need a laugh too.

btw this argument was used in the 70'sabout the f111.....the best bang for buck this country has paid for defense.....nope not an f35 fan......typhoons and supper bugs would be a great way for us to go

Didn't we get the F-111 for 10 million per aircraft or close to it? It was a ridiculous bargain considering their service. I remember cutting apart my former lecturer at University when he started popping off about how bad the F-111 was.

As per your post's topic, you are writing a critique about a fighter whose capabilities are classified.
So I guess its really "A blunt's view of why Australia shouldn't buy the F-35".
If you don't like the look of the jet, its colour, it does not have an ashtray...OK...that's cool.

Crap on all you like about the F111 and how you cut down a uni lecturer. At least its a post-mortem of the jet and the facts are able to be viewed.
