Beautiful photos Wal, especially the first shot of the Hurricane opposite the farm house, it has an Old World look.
Your auto focus problems are probably a result of too many pints of bitters. LOL

Yep......I must admit, the anti-spin strake certainly detracts from the simple, clean, lines of the Tiger Moth design.

This has been a interesting discussion as I've looked up and learnt a little about these devices. "Anti-spin" strakes is a bit of a misnomer, as these devices don't stop a spin, but make them more benign and manageable. Interesting that the RAAF did not think these a benefit for their Tigers. I totally agree that they wreck the lines of the Tiger down in the tail section.
