Harrison Ford made a forced landing into a gold course in a Ryan yesterday - injured but OK.

From the reports, it sounds like EFATO. A witness says he clipped trees on the way in. His condition has been downgraded from critical to serious....he should be ok.
Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987

He should of used the Force and not been a unbeliever!
Wonder if he was wearing a helmet? I've been told that 60% of aviation fatalities are head trauma.

On a serious note, glad he is OK - well, not worse off. Ford as I understand it, has rescued a couple of lost hikers in his chopper in the past. Ford has been very active in the EAA providing scholarships as part of the EAA's "Young Eagles" program. Hmm, imagine a country that fosters, nurtures and cares about aviation - amazing huh!

Best wishes and speedy recovery Mr. Ford.

I guess it's not so much the country (as some people would say the FAA does little to genuinely foster aviation), but organisations (like the EAA) and the benevolence of individuals of means (like Harrison Ford) do what they can....... ;)

I second that.........Please Mr Ford, get on the mend. We want to see you fit and well for the 'Blade Runner' sequel next year.
