This Boeing 787-9 has been all but completed apart from the bare metal leading edges. And it's sat that way for weeks because I couldn't work up the enthusiasm to do the masking to complete the job. However, our club meeting is next weekend and I can't stand the sight of it sitting there waiting to be completed, so this morning I finally got around to the tedious job. What annoys me most, I think, is that you spend hours doing the masking, a few seconds doing the painting and then only a few minutes removing the masking, and finding out what went wrong. Something always goes wrong.
