It is indeed a shame to hear that Cyprus Airways is no more.

I always had respect for this tough little operation that overcame adversity on more than one occasion throughout it's history. I remember seeing one of their derelict Tridents at Nicosia in 1991....it had been there since being severely damaged during the Turkish invasion in 1974. Farewell Cyprus Airways .

Another one bites the dust Ray , sad to see this once great airline gone . Not to many legacy airlines left these days .
