Now there is something you dont see every day

A few weeks ago we went for a walk along some wetlands...really wet wet wetwetlands! that were a former site of peat mining? harvesting? whatever the word for collecting peat is anyway. The area is not far from Robin Hood Airport (formerly RAF Finningley an ex V-Bomber base but now a sleepy aerodrome that services European Holiday charter airlines. Setting off on the walk I glimpsed a T-Jet in the distance, I thought it looked like a 727 but couldnt believe it, thought it must have been a MD80 or something though those are just as rare. Anyhow a bit later I saw it again.. it must have been doing circuit training..it was nice to see this colourful old girl, the light was bad, the distance too far but you get an idea of it with this pic.. I keep thinking this would make a nice model
