I cant find any reference to her flying an airline DH84, I dont recognise the wings on the fin and cant see the rego

maybe that pilot is not female? my eyes are a bit off and maybe nancy would not have looked that old in the pic

I believe the aircraft is VH-RSZ.

The partial rego fits, plus it has the same tail logo and nacelle colour as in this 1958 pic: http://www.goodall.com.au/australian-aviation/dh84-pt2/images/img67.jpeg

I think you are right scotty. Born in 1915, she would have been 43 years old in 1958. She returned to flying in that year after a long break from it.
