Ah when the Roulettes had real aircraft and their shows weren't boring

I just don't understand why the Roulettes didn't/don't equip with Hawks. Great little jets that look good and make lots of noise. Just look at the Red Arrows or Saudi Hawks.

Money and the fact that the Hawks are based up at Willitown & Pearce - away from the Central Flying School where the Roulettes are based. Roulettes with Hawks would be AWESOME, but they are needed more for LIF training, fleet support, etc. But, the RAAF is getting the PC-21 and what a bloody beauty this is!

The Connie took off over me as I was driving up the Princess Highway to the NSW Model show yesterday. What a gorgeous sound it was!

I expect it was launching for that shoot. The Roulettes were doing their demo as I was heading home.
