I can't believe that David Bowie is no longer with us :o
Greatest loss to music since Elvis and Freddie Mecury

PS: well isn't 2016 starting off well..... Stock Markets in turmoil, bad bushfires, and now the loss of David Bowie. And we are barely two weeks into the New Year :?

Pretty shocking news. He sure kept being crook quiet - good on him. Having lost both parents to the Big C, I just hope his passing was pain free.

It's a kick in the guts when anyone so talented leaves this planet. For me, Bowie was part of my childhood/teens in the 70's when living down the coast during my "bohemian surfer brat" period when my parents did their sea change thing. Our costal house was a Golden Fleece roadhouse and music from Bowie, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, etc, etc often thundered out of the local surfers Kombi's and Hummer vans when parked at our roadhouse. So, I had a pretty groovy childhood and Bowie was part of it. I remember back listening to "Heroes" and thinking it was the coolest song ever! Rock on Mr. Bowie - your music will travel through the universe for eternity! I hope you've hooked up with Mick Ronson and creating a storming jam session out there in the ether!

Here's Bowie and Ronson at their finest - turn your amps up to 11!

How many songs have actually been sung in orbit and shared to the world? I'm thinking only one.
