I know this is a couple of hours late but today we celebrate Armistace at the end of WW1. Lest We Forget.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest we forget.

Always an important event, and especially this year in the Centenary of Gallipoli.
Lest we forget

I recently finished reading In Great Spirits the WWI diaries of Archie Barwick, described as from Gallipoli to the Western Front and home again.
a remarkable set of diaries, I really moved by his description of the day to day life on the battlefield.
Very hard not to be moved by it all
