Just heard that an Indonesian Air Force Herc has crashed in Sumatra, with large loss of life.
I am most sorry to hear this.
I wonder if it was one of the ex-RAAF C-130Hs???!

It's so sad when there is loss of life in any aircraft accident regardless of where in the world it happens. Condolences to the families and friends of those who have passed in this one. Indonesia was the only country that based a couple of Hercs in this country at Richmond to help us out in January 1975 for several months just after cyclone Tracy.
