This is a resurrected build as it was 'deconstructed' for my move to South Australia

This is how it looked before the move.

Radome assembled and test fitted

And then....

..to get it to fit into a box

Now the reassembly has started

SOme antennas need to be remade as they did not survive the trip over.

Cheers Paul, great to see you.

Since I got obliterated by the competition with everything I entered I might take a bit more care finishing this one off fro next year.

As long as you have fun then that's all that matters. Trophies are a bonus :)

The big, ol E-3 is looking good Ray.
Don't worry about trophies mate....at least you had some models on the tables (which is much more than what I can say), and, form what I could see, they were bloody nice.
PS: It was good catching up with ya.

Once all that Revell Contacta sets it will be out with the putty to fill the resultant cracks and seams

After some sanding it was once again primed

In blue! I have lots of spare paint in odd colours so I thought I would use these instead of the usual primers. Some more putty has gone on.

It is close to reinstalling the blade antennas that were knocked off and wing tip HF antennas

Time to spend some more time on the E-3.

Primed in a more appropriate colour, and broken/missing antennas refitted.

Also checked the fit of the rotodome and supports. Had some issues with the support breaking, but it s now reglued and setting again.

I never cease to be amazed just how beautiful, majestic, and perfectly in proportion the 707 is.
