does anyone know the quality of Dekno model kits?.......they do some cool pre ww11 racers

They look pretty cool. Pity they're not 1/48 though

The first Dekno kit that I tried to make was their Cessna CR3 and I found it very hard, so hard in fact that it ended up in the bin. Then I tried their Howard DGA8 which was probably no less difficult but I managed to complete it by going very patiently at the project and taking the utmost care in making sure everything fitted. It turned out quite nicely, I thought, so I have laid in a few more Dekno kits for a rainy day and when I have the time and peace of mind to do them well. Not for the inexperienced or faint hearted.
