Airbrush holders

Picked up a 4-brush holder from Supercheap for around $10 today..

If they are the ones I think they are, they are fabulous value ! However, the rather small footprint and the useless suction cup for feet make it a 'tip over' proposition, especially when the air hose is attached.

The first thing I did with mine was remove the suction cup feet and binned them. They proved ineffective. I purchased a couple of thin (3mm approx.) rectangular mdf baseplates (which can double as bases for your models) from the craft section of Bunnings and a couple of csk machine screws, washers and lock nuts. I mounted the holder via the holes in its base using the csk screws through the bottom of the baseplates (I used two thicknesses). A nice broad and stable footing for the stand. Viola ! ;)
