Just saw one of these kits in Showcase models. Impressive size and looked well molded. The asking price was $900 and was sold.

A friend in the USA has one, cost him US$600.

The only problem was that when it arrived the fuselage had been cracked by mishandling. The supplier in the US is sorting out a replacement fuselage.

From what I've heard from Ed Russell, they are a very interesting company and build 1:1 scale gliders. As a side line/another product line, they also do models of course. I've seen on-line their 1/32 Catalina and EricG is working on the L-39 of theirs. I have seen some issues with their offerings with some poor fit (re: Eric's experience with his L-39 and I have seen someone post their work on a 1/32 Me-410 on LSP's), so anyone buying these kits can expect some work to do. Me, I've bought their lovely 1/32 Zlin-126, which I will have a crack at building one day. The level of detail is excellent as is the surface finish - very fine. These aren't shake n bake kits, but well within the abilities of all builders here I'd think. Certainly not cheap kits.

Cheers

Adam

If I were to break scale, it would be for one of those (or a decent 1/48th B-58).

Eric.

Screw spending that much on a model. You'd wanna be keen as I reckon :)
