Simple but Civil

Postby tor lives » Sun Dec 14, 2014 1:24 pm

Hi folks,
I am going to do this
http://www.airliners.net/photo/George-T ... b6fda37468

using this little old thing from Airfix
Image

Very simple, (some might even say boring), colour scheme.....but civil and right up my alley.
She might even make an appearance in our new category next year.

Yeah.....not as striking as the very cool Tracor Flight Systems civvie A-4 blue/white scheme, but something that you don't see every day. And given that the photo is dated 1974, it's gotta be one of the very first civvie-owned Skyhawks.

I like it Ray , very simple .......yet different!! It's just screaming out for some air racer decals on it though. Imagine this roaring around the pylongs at Reno . :o

Yeah....and A-4 Air Racer, now that would be cool!!! (Mmmmmm I can feel a WIF coming on....maybe in Shell colours)
Maybe they could use one of those Skyhawks we saw at Oshkosh as a Reno pace plane....just like the T-33s they currently use.
