Hi guys,
For those with a soft spot for the 767.....the final Qantas 767 commercial passenger flight will operate from Melbourne to Sydney Sat 27 December 2014, ETD 1700. So if ya wanna see the old girl for one last time, you now know when and where.
Don't forget though that the 767 will not entirely disappear from the Qantas Group fleet as Qantas Freight continues to operate the Boeing 767-300F
VH-EFR, and will into the foreseeable future.
Farewell ol friend and thanks for the memories

I did the turnaround loading for the last one out of Canberra here about 2 weeks ago, Flight 821 to Melbourne.

Customer service staff and others taking photos and movies while we're doing the job. (Bloody DQF containers continuing to stick in the floor locks etc. - won't miss that!)

Arrived late, so it left late... and the Duty Manager still complained!

I'm beginning to think that Qantas is the aboriginal word for "can't win"...

Scott.
