Some pictures from the show.

Only 3 entries in the Airliners/Civil category this year. I did not get mine finished

Thanks for the photos Ray , that's the Virgin 737 I built on commission for Michael .
The Comet was an old model of mine also . Both of these were entered in the show on my behalf ( the new owners of these models that is ) .Thanks To John and Michael for doing this . :) :)

No worries,

I spoke to John and he mentioned you had built the Comet, nice job. The 737 suffered a little in transit. It looked like one of the stabs was not sitting correctly.

Looks like I need to make more of an effort for next year.. KMC B727 anyone?

Hi Ray , considering how Australia post handle packages I'm surprised it didn't suffer more damage . Looks like it was a good show , some great looking models on display . I guess that's the chance Michael & John take when getting models through the post .

A KMC 727 hey , I have four in the stash :o , one in Australian Airlines coulours would look fantastic !!!

Knotty .

We must be on the same wavelength there. I also have a AIM/Transport Wings 737-300 and I have had 1/72 Australian Airlines proof sheet made up for it and am torn between which will have the AA markings, the other option is for the 737 to be in QANTAS freight markings.

I found out some of Andrew's work was on display as well. He got a first in the 1/48 Modern Air with his Mirage IIID.

Added another 80 or so pictures from today to the slideshow

Enjoy!

Yes, I was meaning to PM you. All arrived AOK.

I will have to do something about the lack of airliners for next year. Can't let you interstaters take all the glory! :D

Believe it or not but both my Mirage and PC9 were entered on my behalf but the new owner had to send them back to me for repairs after Australia Post damaged them even though the were marked fragile. Considerable damage too. The first placing was a shock, I must say.
