One is compelled to ask....WHY????
The Airfix 1:72 Concorde was a big enough bitch to wrestle with, and now in 1:48th....NO WAY!!
Don't get me wrong, I love Concorde!!! but not enough to allow one to take up half my house, (well....the other half, cause I already have two 1:50 Qantas 747s taking up the front half )

If I had those in the house I would be defiantly divorced .
I had heard that the Airfix Concorde was a bit of a bitch to put together had some issues with regards to the landing gear. But you're right who would have the room for a 1/48 scale or the cash as a matter of fact.

Yeah...can you believe these were saved from a dumpster!!!
I dread to think what has been lost over the years because of short-sighted ignorance!!
Apparently when Ansett went down and the liquidators moved in, the dumpsters at the back of the Ansett Astrojet Centre (Melbourne Airport) were full of framed pictures, large models etc. I just cringe thinking about it.....all that history lost.
