Just saw it now on AMI (Courtesy of one of Ray's mates - NOT). Just sent you a text bud. Looks like a great concept.

May or may not be this scheme, (I doubt it though).
Great photo posted by my old mate Wedgie .....he must be missing me, if so he could always come over to A/CAM ;)

Why not......his $25.00 is good here :D
And bring along those other intellectual giants Alfred, Asho, and Nav76 while you are at it , (must admit to being impressed by Kev's recently-AMI posted 1:48 F-86F though

...very nice job indeed. Credit where credit is due where modelling skill is concerned).

And some more exciting Qantas historic news.
http://www.warbirdsnews.com/warbirds-ne ... ation.html

Word is that a 767-300 may also be preserved at Longreach, (possibly one of the two that are already in storage at Alice Springs)

http://www.smh.com.au/business/aviation ... 0m2p1.html

....and given the significant contribution that the 767 has made to Qantas over the last 30 years, that is only fitting.

This is the more likely scheme to be carried by the retro-jet 737-800

With thanks to Knotty for directing me to this

PS: and if you want another rumour....how about a QantasLink 717-200 getting around in the 1970s TAA DC-9 scheme. Can't confirm or deny this one though ;)
