As emergency services is the subject of next years ACAM Expo table, I need a suggestion. As long as it's cool with TOR and everyone else, my little man would like to build something to put on the ACAM table at expo next year. I need a suggestion of a simple kit that he could do regarding this subject given he isn't a very experienced modeller. I've drawn a blank. Cheers

Hi Paul!
Zvezda has a line of Disney Planes models from Fire & Rescue movie. Maybe that would be ok.

They are simple kits meant for beginers.

Absolutely!!!!
Please tell Brock that it would be our pleasure and honour to have him participate in next year's Model Expo A/CAM Club Display.
Brock, if you are reading this, you have my personal promise that your model will be right upfront of the display, so that the public can enjoy it.
I look forward to seeing what you build.
Thanks Brock, for being willing to help us with our display.

Great idea!

How about Thunderbird 1 or 2 - the ultimate emergency services aircraft?

What about something like a 1:72 or even 1:144 Catalina?.....the Cats will always be remembered for their Search and Rescue activities.

Thanks guys fi\or the input :)

Uros he is a bit past those partuicular kits though he has built a couple :) Thanks anyways

Adam unfortunately $$$ are tight at the moment so a Thunderbirds kit is out at the moment :(

Ray, Brock was stoked when he read your reply. For the moment he's going for a 1/48 Academy Police 500D as it'll be an easy build, cheap and he'll learn a couple more model building techniques with a helicopter. He'll be getting it for Xmas as we had a chat about it. Finding out last weekend that he didn't believe in Santa anymore kinda sucked balls for me but it does make choosing pressies a lot easier    Never know he might even get 2 models done for the table. I, myself need to pull my finger out and get started on my entries :o :o :o
