Hey peeps. I have a 1/48 Monogram B-17G that I started many years ago as a kid. The work I did back then leaves a lot to be desired. I was thinking of getting rid of it and then I had a cunning plan. Turn it into a fire bomber. Does anyone know if there's a conversion out there to achieve this? I'm kinda looking at doing one similar to the following pic with a long nose. TIA peeps :)

As is happens Draw Decal do a decal for some thing similar Paul.

It would not be hard to make the nose cone form laminated sheet or milliput.

There a few similar builds in the Scale Fire Bombers Facebook group

I did see the Draw Decals sheet. I wanna do the above aircraft though so it might be a good excuse to get my stencil cutter out of it's box for the first time since I've had it for about 5 years now :? :? :? Thanks for the idea about laminating the nose from plastic. I didn't even think of that but I think that'll be the way I go. And I'll check out the builds on FB. Ta muchly Ray :)
