Because I don't already have enough model projects on the go , (and/or hanging from the curtain rail of doom ), I am setting out on yet another new modelling "theme of interest".
This one is titled "Infamous aircraft" and focuses on aircraft that have established a certain notoriety or infamy for whatever reason.
The first four contenders in this new model theme are:
1/ 1:144 Boeing 777-200, 9M-MRO - the missing Malaysian Airlines MH370 aircraft.
2/ 1:144 McDonnell Douglas DC-10 30, ZK-NZP - the Air New Zealand jet that crashed into Mt Erebus.
3/ 1:144 Airbus A300B2, F-BVGG - the Air France jet that was at the center of the Entebbe hijack and consequent successful rescue mission conducted by Israeli special forces, (this one is being stolen from the A/CAM Group Build that everyone quickly lost interest in ).
4/ 1:144 Concorde, F-BTSC - the Air France jet that crashed in Paris and, in so doing, effectively ended the era of commercial SST travel.
So....what's your modelling themes-of-interest ?

Mine is civil aircraft, with aircraft I have personally flown or at least have a chance of flying being a small niche within that.
Of course, I actually have to build something occasionally...
