In addition to my love of aeroplane models and all things aviation, I also have a "thing" for big, bad, high performance V8 muscle cars, (even owned one or two in my time).
To that end, I have a nice collection of 1:18 scale diecast Holden/HSV/GM cars, from the likes of Biante, Classic Carllectables, and Auto Art.
After yesterday's momentous last ever Holden win at Bathurst......I just had to get this:


I was never a big fan of the ZB Commodore...…but it is now set in stone for all time, as part of the Holden Bathurst story and history.
I am glad I grabbed it yesterday, cause it looks like they have just about all sold out today, (a 1:18 version of the old adage "win on Sunday, sell on Monday" ).

Nice. I'd like the Bathurst car when it comes out but don't have a spare $2-300 layin around at the moment.

I can't help myself......I have just pre-ordered it.
I can't afford to miss out on what will be a pretty famous car in the proud Holden racing history.
