Bombardier Challenger 604 display model

Something I forgot I had but found in a clean out today. It's just one of those display models that you slot together, but it looks pretty nice once done as you can see. Anyways thought I'd show something as the forum is a bit quiet lately. Come on spark up!

Nice model Brad.
These aircraft are in the process of being replaced by a brand new fleet of Falcon 7Xs.
The RAAF 604s have in fact been sold to an operator on the Sunshine Coast.
The Challenger 604 is now the centre of my world, as I settle into my new role as specialist aircrew onboard the AMSA/Cobham fleet of specially modified SAR Challengers.

Seems like a pretty cushy job Ray. How many SAR missions would you do a year, maybe 2 or 3 fat rich dicks that get lost while on their yacht?...hmm actually just googled and it's about 30 missions a year, still not bad.

Like other emergency service agencies and first responders Brad, we spend a lot of time training. There are many perishable skills in the role that degrade and decay quickly if not constantly exercised.

There is no denying that it sure is a sweet gig young Brad.
Some of the most exhilarating and coolest flying I have ever done :D .
And dropping stuff out of aeroplanes is just plain fun!!!
