A lovely civvie Sabre

Just a lovely civvie F-86 Sabre. This may be the one to pull me out of my modelling slump.

I like it :D
Stated to be Canadair Sabre Mk5, but has the slatted wing of Canadair Mk6
What scale are you thinking of?
and who do you have lined up to do the decals for you?

Probably 1:72 and haven't given much thought to decals yet. Might go to Richard in the UK, as he has just done a lovely custom job for me (1:144 Columbia Airlines 747-100 from the movie Airport 75).

What a beauty is the Sabre - just so right in every sense. Great choice to help you get out of your slump mate. I recommend buying the best Sabre kit for this project - whatever the scale that suits. Find a kit that practically falls together. I'm finding building my little "Spatz" a real joy - gotta love Tamiya!

I've got a Monogram 1/48 Sabre (with bonus Academy fuselage and MiG 15) which you can have if you like..
Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987
Also, we don't need no steenkin' VLATs!
