Which RVHP Learjet 35 for a RAAF model....

Hi All,

I'm looking at getting a RVHP model of the 1/72 Learjet to do a RAAF Learjet. I aware that they used the Learjet 35A.
Which kit in there list is the best one.

Any help would be great.

Sean

Not sure that RVHP themselves did any Lear Jet other than the 35A, it was also done by Mach 2 at one stage, currently also in stock at Hannant's
The only Decals that I know of for a RAAF one are the Hawkeye set for VH-FOX, which went back to the US in the late '90's, it at least had a roundel on the engine pods, of the later ones -LRX has a big black roo on the fin, but painting the rest would be a challenge..

We just had 2 here in Townsville doing training with the Hornets, but I'm not in a position these days to get out and photograph them

ADF Serials has some good stuff on them all

Thanks Graeme,

I have a number of Beechcraft King Airs which are from RVHP and found them easy to built. And after reading a number of post about Mach2 models kits i would like to steer clear of them. apart from the AS355 at present.

I'm more interest in which radar system that they put on the side or under the body of them is what I'm real considering to make my choice on which one to get.

G'day Sean,
Perhaps these will help.

Note that the additional appendages hung off theses "RAAF" Lear 35s are not radar-associated but rather are photographic reccon and target-towing equipment.
