That's just it, it's a Piss-take. Honestly, it's not my idea. Someone saw my B-Cal F-4 Phantom and suggested it. Whether or not they were mistaken, however, I don't know and didn't investigate. I just took the idea and ran with it. They also mentioned an Alitalia Mirage 2000 though so I think they knew exactly what they were doing.

Good fun.... I'm not sure the decals will fit on but we'll give 'er a go.

Sounds like we need a group build with all these high-speed delivery systems in civil airline schemes!

Sure wouldn't get any gripes out of me. I'm soon to even make a civilian VC-10 Tanker to service these little buggers.

$45 total..... No one bid on the Dominie and the others only had a couple bids beyond my initial ones. The wee 737... sometimes to go for pretty expensive prices, not to mention the other two. :)

Then this thing for $80 free shipping and that was my hundred dollars plus over-budget....

I've been wanting one of these for awhile though, so... I mean.... what the hell is the point of even living if you don't do what you want at least some of the time. I'm realizing now that I shouldn't have bought ANY of this shit now, though, because a large chunk of my income is about to dissapear if something drastic doesn't happen. That's how it always goes I guess. I won't get into all that but suffice to say this and the couple other things I bought before this will likely be the last things I get for awhile. That said, the last few things that will trickle in are pretty damn cool so be on the look-out for those soon!! :) (Including some stuff I ordered in from Mother Russia! )

This arrived today. They shipped it in a bubble-wrap envelope thus it was crushed all to hell. The box WAS in great shape but now is garbage. Oh well, it's still a Concorde model! 8-)

Been a bit slack posting my latest acquisitions, so here's a major(ish) update..

Firstly, one I got in ahead of HRTPaul on ...an Amodel 1/72 Aero 145

Next, most of my haul from Expo..

One more from Expo - the long awaited 1/48 Islander..

And finally, a Revell 1/32 P-51D. Didn't realise it was the early version without the tail fairing though - might wait until Revell release the later version and try to get the appropriate bits as spares, as the tail section is separate from the rest of the fuselage..

Cap'n does this bit of aftermarket help you out re your P-51 tail fillet.

There's a few other around as well. The gang at Red Roo will be able to steer you in the right direction.
