Hi guys,
This beautiful ol girl forms part of the fleet of my latest client, (they have some great aeroplanes).

As is the norm, I would love a model of this to sit on my desk at work, but I am dammed if I can find one. Was the Beechcraft Baron ever kitted by anyone???
The closest I have come to finding a model of any description of a Beech Baron, (not including the normally horrible Philippine wooden offerings :? ), is this little, old, diecast produced by Dinky Toys

I guess, if nothing else is available , I can try and find one of these and re-finish it.

Sorry to say it's not been kitted. Wally did a conversion using the Minicraft 1/48 Bonanza, but I can't find the link to the thread!

It never ceases to amaze me that, while you can seemingly get the most obscure of Spitfire or FW-190 variants in most popular scales produced by most manufacturers, you still can't get some of the most common and numerous GA types in ANY scale. What the hell is that about??? :?
It frustrates the shit out of me.....just sayin.

Yep.....all the BS aside, this is where AMI comes into it's own as a reference source.
Thanks for links Wal, (although the engine conversions scare me a bit :? )

Rumour has it that a certain LAME that frequents this site is in the process of developing a 3D printed Baron. Apparently he's gotten bored building F-4 kits and branching out to building his one true love - the Beechcraft Baron! (Vitual lug wrench aimed at my head inbound!)

Because Barons and anything Beechcraft are the biggest piles of shit to have ever flown. They're even worse than the shitbox F-35, that's how much I dislike them. About the only reason I'd model one would be for a crash or artificial reef diorama
