Well.....my birthday present to myself finally arrived today:

All I can say is that the 1:32 Fisher September Fury , (the famous Reno Racing Sea Fury), is just stunning :shock:
A combination of perfect resin and brass work, it is worth every cent that I paid. It is the sort of kit I am just proud to have in my stash :D, and it perfectly compliments my ever-growing 1:32 Air Racer collection. Thank you Mr Fisher :D .

PS: Capt Eric.....you would LOVE it!!!

It's a pretty droolworthy kit I must say. Having built the most excellent Fisher Sea Fury FB.11, I can only advise that these kits are great fun to put together. My fatal flaw with the Sea Fury kit was deciding to replicate the insane rats nest of the hydraulics in the wheel wells which took me forever! This is not required in this aeroplane, as the Reno Sea Fury's are usually fitted with the much simpler A-1 "SPAD" hydraulics system with much reduced pluming. References to this birds wheel wells will be important - anybody?
Like all big resin kits, a bit of "whittling" is required to get everything to fit. Rule No.1 is go slow and test fit often! I'll probably start the RB-51 sometime later next year and this beauty some time after that.

@Paul - you bitch! :D

Yeah probably Paul :D, (you clearly know me too well) ......but you can just bet that you won't be picking this one up for a "bargain basement" price of $20.00. As you are the largest buyer of my stash, you better start saving up now :D

OK....no drama there, the kit cost $25000.00, so 5% of that will do just fine :D

Cool!

I hope it will be in the non-airliner category at expo next year.

I have my potential entry inbound as we speak. It is also a super expensive resin kit.

Eric.
