NASA F-16

Postby tor lives » Sun Nov 22, 2015 1:02 pm

Hi guys,
Seeing Knotty's magnificent NASA T-38 has inspired me. On one of our US Aviation tours, Knotty and I came across this beauty at Lockheed, Palmdale in California:
http://www.f-16.net/g3/f-16-photos/albu ... 124/N816NA
She is just beautiful in her clean, simple, all-white colour scheme, and she is a civvy!!!! :D (N816NA). I am wanting to build her using a refurbished old 1:72 F-16A kit, but, for the life of me, I cant find decals for her. Does anyone know if these decals were ever produced in 1:72???
Ya gotta love the diverse NASA fleet of aeroplanes......so much modelling potential there.

I remember it well Ray , there was also that beautiful F-104 next to it . Like you said , so many modelling opportunities with the NASA stuff . I know it won't be my last NASA bird . :)

Ahhhhhh good one Paul!!!!!......I LOVE that NASA Dak, she looks so good in the NASA scheme. Now I gotta add that to the bloody NASA list :?
In the last few hours I have just bought a 1:72 Minicraft NASA F/A-18A, a 1:72 Fujimi NASA T-38, a 1:72 Hasegawa NASA F/A-18B, and the excellent Rocketeer Decals 1:72 NASA Assorted F-104 sheet.....now I gotta go an buy the NASA Dak decal sheet  .
Paul and Knotty......you are costing me a fortune
