Have fun lads! Jeez, with you lot there the aviation "Av-crap" will be flowing faster than a beer through a tap on payday after knock off! The "Av-crap" with be so thick (particularly with Damo there!) , even a sharp Exacto blade will have issues cutting through it!

Have a great day and please take pic's for those of us unlucky enough not to be able to attend.

The venue is just around the corner from my place, so very handy for me! It's also my daughter's scout hall, so I do my best to support this one. Bought a couple of kits, and caught up with usual suspects. Took my Do 335 along, but am happy to report that it'll have some stiff competition. Really good turn out this year, in both entries and patrons.

I'll be back later this arvo to collect all my awards.

Well..... superb weather, good venue, a great day had by all :D . A top little event that was very professionally-organised and well-run by some great folk, (and the sausage sizzle was yum). Thanks NAM folks, in the immortal words of big Arny...."I'll be back" :D
Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the extraordinary calibre of modelling excellence that was on display today at this most enjoyable event.
Here are some A/CAMers enjoying "proceedings"

I know it's not an aircraft, but I did like this simple but effective dio of the Titanic sinking.

Good photos, Ray. Thanks for posting them! Good to catch up with yourself and the other lads today. It might only be a small local show, but it's got a great vibe, and is well worth supporting. A bumper comp they had today too, with entries up 50%!

A big shout out to all the other guys I bumped into or otherwise conversed with today. Cheers one and all!

Great pic's of some great models indeed - a hearty well done to all involved, certainly looked a great day. Also great to see some decent A/CAMer involvement at this show - certainly a couple of "shaddy" lookin' A/CAMers in that first pic!

Whose big Aussie Super Rhino is that - Uncle Les's? It's Super Noice! Love the Thunderbirds models too!

Cheers

Adam

Yeah Adam, there was a pretty good A/CAM roll-up, (including Fred, Knotty, Damo, Kev, Raptor, and myself).
As you assumed, the Super Hornet was Uncle Les's, as was the dig cam Hornet, Vampire, and Nomad.
Thunderbirds models from our very own Raptor,

Glad you blokes enjoyed the day - we were extreme;ly happy with the way it all went; an almost 50% increase in entries over past years, and a 50% increase of entrants. We raised just on $600 for the Scout Group.
Excellent photos Ray - thanks!!

Now - we need to make sure the Civil Aircraft class gets a few more entries next time round!
