Hey guys,
Looking at the the repainted JetStar Dash 8 made me think maybe I want to build a -300 in 1/72.
Is all that is required to make the Hobbycrap kit into a -300 a couple of fuselage plugs? How big would they be?

Here's a couple of pics to show the difference between the -100 and the -300. Not really a lot in it. The U/C fairings are slightly different but not much really

Thanks Paul, I thought you would be in the know.
Another kit to cut up and make some plugs. Looks like the wing span was also increased by 1.54m so I will check some pictures to see if they were just tip extensions.

It'll be the first time I've ever cut up a model. Might need a few pointers when it comes time

I wonder if Ryan Hamilton would be interested in doing some body plugs for the 1:72 Hobbycraft Dash 8 kit, as he did for the 1:144th Zvezda 787 and Mach 1:72 Viscount kits???. If enough of us ordered some, it may be viable for him to do. I know I would order a couple of sets for both a QantasLink and Jetstar Dash 8 300.

Ryan's set was the Customs conversion set, don't recall a -300 from him

Yeah , I think your right Ray . That's the only one I can find in the stash . Don't know why ,but I thought he did a 300 conversion. Must be getting old .

Might have to see if there's some PVC pipe the right size
