Jetstar

Postby Tony P » Wed Jun 17, 2015 2:14 pm

Hi all,
Before I go on. Maybe it might be a good idea to have some sort of library type database listing all decals, kits, aircraft types and paint schemes for a particular airline? Aim it at Australian airlines first and maybe expand from there? Knowing what's out there for say Virgin, Qantas and Jetstar might be a starting point. Leave it up to the populous to decide.

Which now leads me on to Jetstar. I bought a set of 2008 scheme decals from Hawkeye with the intent of building an A320 with the sharklets. Having a look online, it appears the scheme has changed slightly since the 2008 scheme. Jetstar.com in combination orange and black has been replaced by an all black Jetstar. The "All day everyday low fares" is now orange instead of black.

Here is what I mean:
New:

2008:

and for history sakes 2004:

How annoying. Anyhow, this is an example of what we could have in a library, showcasing the schemes and appropriate decals etc.

I've tried a few times with no success. Always claim my money back from paypal before time runs out. So haven't lost anything. Now you have 6 mths to claim so there is no excuse for postage time frames.

Hi All,

i haven't had any problems from getting decals from Modelarstwoalexander over the past years.
I have obtained the following with any major issues.
the ones i have obtain from GIO are
http://modelarstwoalexander.auctivacommerce.com/Silk-screen-decal-for-JETSTARBRITISH-AIRWAYSAEROMEXICOCHINA-SOUTHEREN-787-800-in-scale-1144-P3222821.aspx
http://modelarstwoalexander.auctivacommerce.com/Silk-screen-decal-for-Embraer-170-collection-P2853293.aspx
and an Air NewZealand Boeing 777 decals i believe and i would have to check.

The only reason why i go outside of Australia for decals is due to the local small business haven't keep up with what people are chasing.
