The reason I am commencing this one somewhat early is because it may take some time for planned participants to source the kits and decals they will need for this particular Challenge Build.

Ah, a note of conjecture here. I did a quick tally and if you take 1st votes only both the 707 and HS-125 received 4 votes. So a tie.
Not everyone offered 2nd and third prefs. So the HS-125 is not quite the clear winner you suggest. Perhaps we build both, one in each category. After all, we will have 12 months to finish the 2 models.
