Yes Blackhawk, I have heard all the hysteria on HS about the "fatally flawed" Eduard 109G-6.
I did a quick "Salty's Guide to 109" check when I opened the box.
Looks like a 109.
So I bought it.

I'll let the supposed experts argue over who has the best set of blueprints that allow for correct dihedral, or the most accurate photograph with correct focal length with zero distortion of fuselage depth. By the time they have completed a 10,000 word dissertation on how unbuildable this new kit is, I will have built it and decided it looks absolutely wonderful.

Half of the geese arguing don't even know what 1/48 means.
Laughable

Plenty of experts on that other modelling site mate.. Just ask the resident fish head...They'll give you the exact dimensions of the thronomeister, coupled with a lineal dose of Ipso Facto, divided by the amount of spanners in a sidchrome toolkit and you'll come up with all the answers you need..

It's hard for me to get used to these changing times... I remember when the air was clean and the sex was dirty..

Yeh I was just laughing at the discussion. Anyways, I have enough Hasegawa 109's to last a while, but if they do bring out a G-10 or K-4 with the engine I might pick up one of those, as I can't find the FM detail set for the Hasegawa kit for love nor money.

I'm plus 5 for the year Paul and that's with still two, maybe 3 model shows left for the year depending if I can get to Bayonet. It's always a struggle to get from my joint down there and back for cricket on time.

Here's a picture of what I just bought at the Expo swap and sell event. A modeller can never have too many A.320s, DC-8s or Lightnings, the Tristar was an impulse buy

I picked up an F-18/A in 1/48, the 1/350 Z-30 German Navy Destroyer and an F-105D-II in 1/48 along with a pair of tweezers and some pigments.
