I've just lost my mojo for a while and been very busy overseas but I will commit my 2 mate as long as nothing goes wrong. Paul will have to deliver them to expo though as I'm in PNG at that time

Even counting for shipping time..... I could just scrape by and make the deadline.

When I started it,though, I didn't know, but the aircraft I am modelling is an Advanced and has the full gravel kit applied. WOOPS!!! I was unprepared for this, to say the least, and have lost tremendous time dealing with it. I've also blasted my feet of trying an expirement on techniques for filling the windows that added a couple months onto it. I've gotten past that part but I still need to make a slew of modifications and/or locate hard to find aftermarket parts. Sheesh!!

Not giving up, though!! I also have a quick "throw together" 737 planned if this thing goes completely tits up but even that isn't guaranteed at this point.

I have the two I made last year, both Airfix 737-200s of Aeropostale and NAC. If you like, I also have a 737-100 of Ansett NZ and a 737-200 of Air Nauru with Airfix wings and Revell fuselages (suitably shortened) that I made earlier. I would have to send down to somebody to put into Expo for me and pick them up again if they are going to be entered in any way.

Been a while since an update for this beasty. I've been distracted by PR Spitfires and F-16's of the adversary kind. I got some Corogard on the wings now though I reckon it's a bit dark but it'll do. I might get the NMF on the leading edges done tomorrow before I head off to POM again on Sunday :)

Magnificent. I find myself defaulting this term. This looks great!!! Keep going!!!!

I, too, am pressing on. When I started my build, I had no idea that it was an ADV with full ground kit and all the works...... I was totally un prepared. However, with the help of some fine folks here I have been provided numerous reference and guides to help me along. Also, I've upgraded my own 'personal' standards by buying some actual quality supplies such as Miliput, TET, Tamiya Putty, actual REAL sheet styrene (instead of the random bullshit I find lying about the house) and have taught myself how to make stretched sprue (gotta have it for the vortex dissipators).

Long story short, I'm trying very hard to progress my build and am still very hopeful and confident to make the deadline! :P In fact, I've all but completed the new nose fairing. I have already filled in the rudder hinge that needs deleted. I've completed the PE gravel deflector that attaches to the nose wheel. I'm almost at the point I can finally paint the fuselage. I've also reluctantly started modifying the engines. I can't find any Authentic Airliner ones I want and I don't care for the BRA.Z ones so I'm making my own. To that end, I've already sawed off the rear-end and am in the process of doing the rest.

Hopefully once that is done, I will figure a way to secure and ship it, as I will not be able to attend in person.
