Or the flying machines from anime films that were recently discussed?

Are they to be included?

G'day Capt Salty
Yep......what ever takes your fancy.
I would like to make this theme as wide-ranging and diverse as possible.

PS: I now have just got to arrange for some customs decals for a 1:144 Belarus Airways A310 (World War Z) and a 1:44 Stevens Corporation 747-100 (Airport 77). Damo :D

I love that scene. Especially when the Cessna is trying to beat the motocycle.....with flaps extended!
Apart from that, it is still a great scene with some great flying on display.

So....who's paying for the damaged Cessna???

Oh boy, have I got a cracker! Alrighty then, she's got killer looks, kills the evil un-dead and can fly! What's not to love huh!

I've got the kit, just have to work out how to do the decals and I'm working on that. The actual aeroplane lives in Canada.

Here's some inspiration for anyone with a spare 172 kit - Damo? I recognise some of my flying in this vid!

Some more inspiring civvy flying from movies.

Yes, admittedly a bit of girlie romantic fluff, but it's breath-taking flying none the less.

Here's a great one for you airliner dudes!

Fire bombers - well, there is only one very good movie isn't there!

Another one "No Highway" by Neville Shute
Fatigue testing the fictitious Raindeer airliner which was, I think, a modified H.P. Hermes.
A couple of other possible themes;
Workhorses: Fire bombers, Air Ag, police, trainers, cargo.
The Douglas Commercial Family and derivatives.
Extending Stu's suggestion to include (civilian) aircraft that have featured in historical events, e.g. DH88 Comet, Westland Wallace, DH106 Comets (fatigue failures) Bleriot, etc.

G'day Ray, watershed moment alright.. I had the honour of meeting Captain Al Haynes in CBR in 1996.. Capt Denny Fitch made a good show years ago called "leaving the earth".. Well worth a look, I'll post the links.

Hi Fred..if you were at expo.. Sorry I missed you.. Captain salty and I will DEFINITELY be there next year..
It's hard for me to get used to these changing times... I remember when the air was clean and the sex was dirty..
