707 still leading, with the HS-125 coming up on the inside.

Looks like its shaping up to be a show-down between the HS-125 and the 707. I am torn....I love my 707s, but equally, the HS-125 also has max appeal, (and I have a "few" of each in the stash).
Here is a good FB site to get the HS-125 juices flowing.

The nice thing about HS-125 models would be that the two kits offer quite different looking aircraft. And I've already got both kits. Sounds like a good idea to me.

I just remembered: Welsh Models also do the HS-125 in 1/144 in early and late versions. Very lovely little moldings too.

It's a bummer that both kits are a bit pricey and not overly common as my short ebay research suggests which may limit participants. As I said it doesn't bother me as I have the kits in the stash.

Still.....how cool would it be to see a fleet of 1:72 HS-125s lined-up in the Model Expo Non-Military category in 2020!!!.
I am already pretty certain of the one I want to build......and I reckon I know what one you may build Paul :D .
Seems many of us already have the 1:72 Matchbox and/or Airfix HS-125s in our respective stash's, (in fact I just found another one I didn't know I had).

Might even be two if this :

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Aerospace_125

is correct :

"Former military operators
Argentina
Argentine Naval Aviation operated one HS-125-400 for navigation aid calibration.
Argentine Air Force A single HS-125-700 was impressed into Escuadrón Fénix during the Falklands War."
