Vector-based graphics ? How will you print these ? Laser ?

G'day Nicolas...
I do the initial linework in Autocad...been using it for 20-odd years, so it's generally pretty straightforward. Unless I have to trace something....I hate tracing!
Once it's done in Autocad, I import it into CorelDraw to fill in the solid areas. I've found it better to do it this way, 'cos sometimes there can be issues when I try to import solid hatching. When I'm sizing the decals, I just print from Autocad and lay it up against the model.
Up until now, I've been printing on my trusty ol' inkjet, but this is limiting as nobody's come up with an affordable way to print white. My Mobil Mustang decals are going to be printed by Custom Hobby Decals http://customhobbydecals.com/, as are this lot.
Incidentally, there's around 20 hours of work getting them to this point.

Aaaarrrrgh!
So I bit the bullet and decided it would be most helpful for youse guys to have a decal placement guide, even though you're all clever enough to figure it out for yourselves..
Simply dropping my decals onto a jpeg of a P-51 wouldn't cut it (I can get a little OCD about these kinds of things..) so I started tracing a 3-view..
I. Hate. Tracing!

After a couple of interruptions from folks wanting me to do *actual* work for them, I'm slowly working through the placement guide.. Have the top, bottom, and side views traced, and starting to play around with placement. Lotsa work still to go!

Slowly, slowly. Had to adjust the size of a couple of the logos after double checking the measurements..
