Google Malware Warning

Postby SpaceRanger » Tue Nov 15, 2016 7:28 am

I just now got a malware warning when I tried to access this site. Anybody else?

Yeah, it's been going for about a week now. Same warning as last time.. It's a tech issue.

I'm getting it on both Google Malware Warning AND on my Eset anti-virus. I'd say it's more than a "tech issue". There are probably some posts on the site with links to genuine malware. It would be nice to have it fixed but I appreciate the difficulties. So, until then, be careful which links you open.

After much coordination and activity behind the scenes, I am being assured that the site will be cleaned up and good to go again by no later than Wednesday next week (30th Nov 2016). The process of site clean-up is apparently quiet long-winded and exhaustive as EVERY recent attachment/link has to be screened and reviewed for malware.
In the meantime I would suggest that nobody open any recent attachments or links.
I have also been speaking to Dave Harvey from AMI who has been very helpful in the trouble shooting process.

OK folks,
So can you all do me a favour and start testing site entry over the next 24 hours or so just to see if we have cleared the site of any "nasties" .
For those who have had issues over the last week or two, could you report your findings, thanks.

PS: as I type this we have some 35 users on line so there maybe some improvement to the situation.

Hi all,
Well it looks like we may have FINALLY fixed our site issues.
Thanks for everyone's patience, and I would like to again give a big "shout out" to Dave Harvey over on AMI who was willing to assist, support, and advise me in the midst of this latest Site technical SNAFU. Thanks Dave.
