I tried the Humbrol stuff to did canopies and didn't have much success with it.

There is an Aussie supplier of future, look here:

http://www.polish-up.com.au

I got one bottle of them and from memory, it was $27 including postage. It is simply the best stuff for dipping canopies, and even smells nice!

I don't know why guys mess around with other stuff.

Eric.

I kinda agree with Eric on this. I obtained my Future® from the U.S. waaay back in the late '80s and had the forethought to decant it into smaller airtight bottles (minus the air !)which I drew upon as required - expecting them to gum up over time but at least last longer than if stored in the original bottle. I'm here to tell you that I'm finally onto my last bottle from this purchase and it's as viable as the day I first used it... and it still smells nice.
In the case of a more recent use of Pledge One Go® as a compatible I found it just not quite up there, almost as good, but not as great. A touch more yellowy than the original... good for smoked canopies with the addition of a teensy spot of dye.
