Trip to Model Expo 2019

It was good to see everyone. Graeme, the stang book should be in the mail tomorrow.

I had a good weekend, I came 4th in Medium scale jets and rocket aircraft with my Me 163. The AHSA did well over the weekend, we sold almost everything, left with less than half a box of books that we literally couldn't give away!

I bought 3 kits from the swap and sell; 1/32 Mig 17, Mig 21 and Su 25 Frogfoot. Unfortunately though I came down with a dose of flu on the Tuesday after that put me in bed for most of the week and had my mum nearly taking me to emergency as I had a throat so swollen and sore I couldn't eat or drink, not to mention the bone melting fever and then cold shakes. Thankfully I am now feeling better, but jesus christ I felt like I was dying last week!
