Cessna 180 Decals

Postby tor lives » Sat May 06, 2017 1:36 pm

Hi guys,
Does anyone know where I can find information, (eg build article), and Australian Army decals for the old Monogram Cessna 180 kit????. Also, what is the actual scale of this kit (Damo)???

I see Andrew listed it as 1/50 scale, it's actually 1/41
The decals were released by Southern Sky Models, which means they were probably done by Steve Evans of Ronin, and as he only does extremely small runs of decals, are something you would have to search on ebay/gumtree or post out on here
I got the TAA 1/72nd ones for the Kee Kha kit

AZ Models have been thinking of a 1/72 version for some time. We have sent them enough info to do a good Australian Army version. I imagine patience will be rewarded eventually.

Graeme might remember better than me but I seem to recall that in the 80s there was a bloke in Brisbane Scale Modellers who produced an article for their Monthly Newsletter. I think he said in the article he was one of the pilots?
