I Couldn't Help Myself

Postby tor lives » Wed Feb 03, 2016 6:35 pm

These days I find my self surrounded by some pretty exotic and beautiful Corporate Jets, and one of the most impressive of these is the Bombardier Global Express, (just a stunning jet that is operated by several of my perspective clients). This has turned my attention to Corporate Jet models (which is why I am currently wrestling with a 1:72 Broplan Gulfstream IV :? ). I like to have representative models of my clients aeroplanes in my office, to that end I have had my eye on this beauty on ebay for several weeks.

She is a 1:48 Space Models Global Express. She is a travel agent-style model that has, up to now, been used by Bombardier as a promotional display model at Airshows etc. She was pretty expensive  but I could resist no longer, and couldn't help myself. She will look great in my office :D .

Noice!

Dude, you need a new accountant - that is a legit tax deduction (business related expense - office equipment/supplies!). :D

Now, I need to wangle getting a 1:1 aeroplane for my business - hmmm thinking cap on!

Cheers

Well.....seems I now don't get my $300 plus beautiful Global Express mode  l. After two weeks of stuffing me around with excuses as to why the model has not yet been sent, the seller last night advises me that the model was dropped and smashed during packing , (not sure I believe him.....I think he may have just decided that he did not want to part with it after all). Anyway, he has refunded my money, but I really would have preferred the model. So now, to make myself feel better, I am bidding on a superb 1:72 Pacmin Gulfstream 650 model. It's not the Global Express that I soooooo wanted, but it will take it's place in the space I had allocated in my office for the Global Express model.
