Not that I have or ever will enter anything in anything, but it's good to know the 'Gold Standard'.
...why "Ace" ?

I've been banned from 5 modelling forums.

Ray can be my wingman.

Yeah...I am getting up there with you Ace. Hopefully I can stay on the good side of this Site's owner and not get my arse kicked off this one :D

Nahhhh....tools are useful!!!
This site owner can't even finish a bloody model, yet he thinks he's got the right to own his own model site. WTF!!! :D

I see.

However, the title of "Ace" was normally attributed to the victor.

Not the loser.

Question with respect to providing references...
Let's say I build a 109, paint it a nice white with some blue and red pinstriping, and slap a VH- rego on the side. Obviously this particular aircraft never existed in real life, but maybe that's how I'd paint it if I actually owned one, purists be damned.
Given there are no photos or other documentation, what would be acceptable as a reference?
Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987
Also, we don't need no steenkin' VLATs!

Perhaps a short word on why you'd painted it like you have. Not something that comes up often though as a vast majority of entrants are historically minded.
